Introductory

For those completely new to yoga

Introductory class consists of 4 classes, for people who have never tried yoga. It includes basic terms explanations. You can learn names of postures in Sanskrit, foundational poses techniques and mindful observation of your body sensations. We recommend you not to skip this level, because it is useful for your future practice..

Beginners

Suitable for beginners and those who would like to come back to yoga after a pause.

On these classes you will refine fundamental standing, seating and balancing poses and gradually learn names of postures in Sanskrit, learn about the physical and mental effects that yoga has on your body, mind and breathing. This level suitable for beginners and those who would like to come back to yoga or recover after traumas or illnesses.

At this level you will gradually turn from lite variants of asanas to classic versions. Not only beginners can attend this kind of classes – as any experienced person can learn something new detailed explanation.

Basic

For those who are skilled for the basic practice and want to move on.

This level is designed for the people with good physical training, who know names of Asanas in Sanskrit and can control sensations of the body during class. At this level the practice is more complicated and allows deepening into understanding of the human body. Beside working with Asanas this class opens working with breathing – pranayama. Classes of this level require not only volitional power, but also good somatic health, that is why we recommend them for people who have yoga practice regularly for about half a year and have no serious problems and ready to explore variations of arm balances, backbends, pranayama.

Women class

The class is specially designed for a women’s health

These classes are special designed for women, by reference to specific features of women’s periods, climacteric facts and pregnancies. Practicing yoga on women’s’ classes helps to relieve pain feelings during the period, restore hormonal and emotional balances, prepare your body for forthcoming labor. Easy practice allows carefully and effectively do yoga with no advanced physical training or with hormonal dysregulations.

Yoga Nidra

Meditation practice for deep relaxation and getting rid of distress

Special psychological, physical and mental relaxation that allows the mind to relax, reproduces contact of consciousness and unconsciousness, and finally improves your live. There is all the necessary equipment for Yoga Nidra in the studio. The clothes for Yoga Nidra classes can be the same as for other classes (comfortable), the only thing you should bring with you – socks (if your feet are freezing usually). Yoga Nidra practice helps to reduce tensions and anxiety, remove such clinical symptoms of high anxiety as headache, dizziness, chest pain, fast heartbeat, risen sweatiness, stomachache and many others. Yoga Nidra is designed for people, who suffer from chronic fatigue, sourness, anxiety, aggressiveness and other negative emotions. You can take control over your feelings and find balance and harmony.

Prenatal (postnatal) Classes

Before visiting these classes we recommend you to consult with your supervising doctor.

At these classes we help you to reach several goals: improve general health, cheer up, make your body stronger, learn to breathe (pregnant women can understand the importance of it later on), to get ready for labor and to charge vital power.

Individual consultation

For those who have problems with health (chronic illnesses, traumas, etc.).

If you have some problems with your health (chronic illnesses, traumas, surgeries, etc.) and you want to consult about yoga classes with a specialist in orthopedics, you should previously agree about the time of consultation and bring all your medical documents (it can be statement from you hospital, test results, CT imaging, MRT, ultrasonography, X-ray and others. The better information you provide, the higher quality individual program for rehabilitation you can be provided.

Individual classes (private tuition)

For those who need special attention

At individual classes instructor can work with you on special program (developed for you, by reference to specific features of your organism), considering your special needs and physical abilities. These classes are especially useful for people with defections in health, for example evolving joint contractions (hyper/hypomobility), after traumas, in the period of recovery or chronic pathology when it is difficult to do yoga in groups. And certainly these classes bring invaluable profit to those who want to work at each asana under thorough supervision of the instructor and advance his own practice.

For people who don't speak Russian (or just want speak English).

We have two classes a week in English. It is convinient for everyone who wants to continue yoga-practice being abroad. Generally this class is designed for begginers, but we are flexible in terms of the level and can adapt this class for experienced yogis as well. However, we invite all advanced yogis to all our classes as most of the necessary information (asanas names) is in Sanskrit. Pranayama

Prana (vital power) control by breathing

Praṇayama (Sanskrit: प्राणायाम praṇayama) is a Sanskrit word meaning "extension of the praṇa or breath" or "extension of the life force". The complex of breathing exercises is practiced, which train conscious control over breath. The effects of changing proportions of oxygen and carbon dioxide in blood is a core component of the classes. The massage of the inward parts of the body is also made while deep and random work of all the muscle engaged in breathing.

Several researchers have reported that pranayama techniques are beneficial in treating a range of stress-related disorders, improving autonomic functions and reducing signs of oxidative stress.
